In the past, I have used a Google sheet that captured all my stock prices in one fell swoop, using Google's financial functions and a pasted copy of the Advanced Portfolio report. I put the AP in one tab, and retrieve all quotes using references in a second tab. Save the sheet as CSV, which can then be quickly imported into GnuCash for even hundreds of commodities.
