RE: GoogleAds V10 - error failed to connect to all addresses

2023-03-31 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Thank you for raising this concern to the Google Ads API support team.

Regarding your concern, based on the subject, it appears that you are using the
v10 of the Google Ads API. That said, kindly note that v10 has already been
sunsetted last February 1, 2023. After this date, all v10 API requests will
begin to fail. You may check this blog post for more information about this. I
would highly suggest upgrading to the latest/newest version of the Google Ads
API to avoid errors on your end.

Regards,

Google Ads API Team

Re: How get all valid accounts for invoices?

Hello! Thanks for your response!
But you understood wrong. We can get all accounts, it isn't a problem.
We ask, how to get only one valid account per invoice (because invoice
returns all account data for selected billing setup (invoice)

RE: How get all valid accounts for invoices?

2023-03-31 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Thank you for raising this issue to our team.

Regarding your concern, since this is specifically about getting invoice data,
I would recommend checking our Invoice document and this Retrieving invoices
guide to know more about this in the Google Ads API. Also, you are asking on
how to get a list of valid accounts, you may use this List Accessible Accounts.
Listing accessible customers is one of the few requests in the Google Ads API
that does not require you to specify a customer ID in the request, and will
ignore any supplied login-customer-id. Also, note that the resulting list of
customers is based on your OAuth credentials. The request returns a list of all
accounts that you are able to act upon directly given your current credentials.

How get all valid accounts for invoices?

2023-03-31 Thread Александр Чернуха
We try to get invoice info fo all acounts in our mcc.
But we have a lot of thousands accounts, it will be very slow if we iterate
all accounts.
One Invoice can have o lot of account of one Billing setup, but we can't
get all billing setups during api restrictions.
Can we get list of valid accounts easier else iterate all accounts?

RE: Google Un-editable Ad Names and Ads Labels

2023-03-31 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

I'm from the Google Ads API team.

Please see below for my comments on your queries:

1.) Is there any way we can name Ads for Discovery Ads and Etc? The problem is
that when I create a new discovery ad the ad name is not editable and lists
components of the ads itself. Is there a workaround for this?
Can you provide a screenshot of a sample entity that you want to change the
name so we can further investigate? If you created the ad via API, it would be
great if you can provide the complete request and response logs with request ID
for our reference. You may send the information to us via Reply privately to
author option.

2.) Because we are able to name these ads in the UI we are resorting to using
Ads Label in place of ad name. From what I can see we have a max of 50 applied
at the Ad Level. Does that mean I can technically make 100 labels but I can
only have 50 associated at any given time?

Yes, you're correct that even if you create 100 or more labels, you may only
associate 50 of these to a single entity at at time as defined in our system
limits.

Hello Ramakumar,

Thank you for reaching out to Google Ads API Support.

Can you please provide us with the complete request and response logs with
request ID generated by the API as shown in the respective links, so we can
check on our end the errors being thrown and provide precise guidance
accordingly?

If you haven't enabled logging yet, it can be enabled by navigating to the
Client libraries > Your client library (ex. Java) > Logging documentation,
which you can access from this link. For REST interface requests, you can
enable logging via the curl command by using the -i flag.

You can provide it via Reply privately to the author option. If this option is

please share your complete request and response logs, and request-id that

the crop portion where we can see the discrepancies is helpful in our
investigations. If you haven't yet, logging can be enabled by navigating to the

Google Un-editable Ad Names and Ads Labels

2023-03-31 Thread Hyon Ro Kim
Is there any way we can name Ads for Discovery Ads and Etc? The problem is
that when I create a new discovery ad the ad name is not editable and lists
components of the ads itself. Is there a workaround for this?

Because we are able to name these ads in the UI we are resorting to using
Ads Label in place of ad name. From what I can see we have a max of 50
applied at the Ad Level. Does that mean I can technically make 100 labels
but I can only have 50 associated at any given time?

Hoping we could get some answers :)

Reporting data on campaign-level vs item-level cost matching

2023-03-31 Thread Vipul
Hello, on Google Ads reports

When I build a report with columns "campaign," "campaign type," and "cost"
the total cost displayed is matched with the cost displayed on the
dashboard UI.
but when I add the item id column (i.e. segments.product_item_id) in the
report, the cost reduces and doesn't match !

So there is definitely some ad cost that is not applied to any items.

on Google Ads api,

SELECT
customer.id,
campaign.id,
campaign.name,
campaign.advertising_channel_type,
segments.product_item_id,
metrics.cost_micros,
segments.date
FROM shopping_performance_view

I am using the above query to fetch item-wise cost, but I am not able to
get the cost that is missing on the item level.
So is there any way I can get campaign-wise missing cost that was not
applied to any items ?

Missing data between reports

2023-03-31 Thread 'Kristina Mikhailenko' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hello

We have two queries:
1) {"query":"SELECT campaign.id, customer.id, metrics.all_conversions,
metrics.all_conversions_value, segments.conversion_action_name,
segments.date FROM campaign WHERE segments.date >= '2023-03-17' and
segments.date <= '2023-03-20'  AND campaign.id = '18066129741'"}
2) {"query":"SELECT asset_group.id,
asset_group_listing_group_filter.parent_listing_group_filter, campaign.id,
customer.id, metrics.all_conversions, metrics.all_conversions_value,
segments.conversion_action_name, segments.date FROM
asset_group_product_group_view WHERE segments.date >= '2023-03-17' and
segments.date <= '2023-03-20'  AND campaign.id = '18066129741'"}

In the response for the first query we have the data from the 17th of
March, but in the response for second one - we don't have data from the
17th March. Can you help me understand why this is so?

Thank you in advance.

Kristina
