thought was a frozen up computer. Patience paid off!
My problem is that the soundcard does not send enough audio to the waterfall
display, only barely flickering the first two bars in the waterfall
display color setup. -

Has anyone else come across the following error when loading Encomm
from the CD, or have any idea of a fix for it? I downloaded the .iso
file twice and burned two separate CD's with the same results from each
Error, cannot find Puppy on 'cd' boot media.

Sorry to question this, Andy, but it looks like I'd be changing it
from the standard IDE CD, to a USB-based CD drive. I don't have a
USB-based CD drive, so not sure that will help.

Did you verify the MD5SUM on the .iso file? I would expect a bad download.
It may be a pain, but I would suggest you download again if the
MD5SUM does not compare.

The truth is, I couldn't figure out how to verify the checksum. The
directions on the website looked as though they were for Linux, and as
I'm using a Windows OS, I didn't think those instructions would work for
me. Was I wrong?

I've been told that the definition of insanity is doing the same
thing over and over and expecting different results. If that is true,
then I am indeed overqualified!
Just downloaded for the third time and burned the CD for the third
time. Thanks to Rein I was able to verify the
