We are working on a update for 8.22 which will include one DLL that
needs to
be copied over the old one during a stop / start of smtpd32. I'll post a
link here as soon as it's available.

So those that have been effected by this
are they behind a SMTP firewall and still get hit or are these servers SMTP
live to the internet?

The q manager for Imail 8.15 kept stopping. I noticed a strange error
messages in the logs:
Error 071 Max renames, possible killer message
Anyone know what this is?
Thanks

I have
a client who is constantly trying to email nara.gov. DNSreport looks like a
Christmas tree with the amount of failures they have in the DNS records. The
question is sometimes the imail server finds the record and most of the time it
does not. What do I need to put in the hosts file
I spoke with an Ipswitch Tech who indicated that versions prior to 2006 are
vulnerable to the new issue. I upgraded last week to 2006.1 from 8.22
without any problems.

I did, but I still saw the error in the logs. However, last night I ran
some windows updates and rebooted the machine. The error is now gone.
Must need a full restart for that setting to be turned off.
