Uninstall Issue

Trying to uninstall Pidgin 2.7.11. Using WIN7 O/S. Getting error: 'An instance of Pigdin is currently running. Please exit Pigdin and try again. Pigdin is not running (I checked Task Manager and it NOT in the list). Help me. ___ Support@pidgin.im

Getting repeated HTTP 400 errors from Hangouts

Since yesterday, I'm getting kicked off of Hangouts with HTTP 400 errors. Sometimes reconnect works and I stay connected for a bit, other times it fails to reconnect for minutes to hours. Nothing useful in the debug log. Using the web interface works flawlessly. Please advise.

Pidgin is a client, just like Miranda, PSI and the others you tried. If the disconnection happens with all of the clients, I doubt there is anything you can do on the Pidgin side to resolve. One thing you could do is start Pidgin with debugging and then look at the log for possibly more
