I spoke with a few ebay folks. Was disconnected a couple of times. All
were friendly. Had a unproductive live text chat which ended with
instructions to email my concern to a link provided. Obviously, I was
not talking to ebay about your account specifically. 

Like everything lately this just seems whack.

Using the info from the reply I did a quick look around ebay's
Advertising Opportunities to see what I could see (yuck yuck yuck).

Thanks for your call the other day, and thanks for the eBay advice.

We took matters into our own hands... http://wreckandsalvage.com/auction

The auction for Week 3 ends tomorrow...current high bid of $100.

Nelson is still haggling with eBay, trying to get us reinstated...faxing
documents, proof of identity, retinal scans, urine samples, etc.

I have a couple theories as to why we were booted, but my evidence is all
circumstantial so I'll refrain from hypothesizing.  We're looking into it
with a microscope though, so we'll figure it out eventually.  Needless to
say, the eBay folks have been less than helpful.

Oh well.  Power to the People.  Support your local salvage workers:

Send them an email asking for why they suspended the account., I mean 
because Rocketboom used ebay to solicit sponsers or ads, so why 
can't you.  I would point that out in the email.  It sounds like 
someone may have flagged you and ebay in their tyical and 
inconsisntant fashion banned you.  let us know what happens..
