At one point for Massive we did Baseball Jackets/windbreakers for da posse. You get alot more use out of em than tshirts and you dont have to deal with size extremes as much. Its a bit more money-but in the end its worth it.
I went to a sporting goods store & bought a regular baseball jacket, sent in and Matt had em printed up.
just an idea Diana
From: Eric Iverson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: 313@hyperreal.org Subject: [313] 313 list t-shirt? discuss Date: Thu, 01 Jun 2000 22:52:51 -0400 while at the demf i hardly recognized anybody from the 313 list, and i figure others may be in the same boat. so how about a 313 list t-shirt so members can better recognize each other at such occasions? the design would probably be something simple and based around the text "313@hyperreal.org" which list members would spot easily. i volunteer to do the leg work, unless someone else wants to. aspiring graphic artists on the list would submit designs for shirt front and back as low-res gifs/jpegs and i'll post them on a web site, take votes and tally them up. the winner(s) would then supply a high res image. the image would become property of the list members, not to be used for profit. the winning artist(s) would get bragging rights. as for production, i know of a web site that makes t-shirts, mugs and mousepads on an ad hoc basis. i won't mention the name yet because i don't want this post to possibly be interepreted as spam. anyway, this company charges a flat fee of $10.99 for t-shirts up to xl size. that's pretty reasonable for a full color design, front and back. there would be no extra markup as this is not meant to be a profit making venture. i am not associated with that company! if someone has other ideas for a production source, speak up. the t-shirts would be sold via the web, at a url given only to list members. i suppose this concept could be extended to mousepads and even mugs. also list members could use the artwork to make their own buttons or tags, or even make their own t-shirts. before proceeding with this, let's hear the pros and cons. --eric (sub'ed via digest) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
