I went to Detroit Taste Fest on the 4th of July weekend 2002, and saw War, Joan Jett, and John Aquaviva. Top that, Carol Marvin.
I am going to try hard to be around DEMF weekend, but I may not actually go to the festival. It's tempting to go back again in July. The weather in July is more to my liking anyway.
