I wrote that reply hurriedly as I was cross and I am in the middle of pre
Easter deadlines but it has since occurred to me that most people do think
of recording, photographing, writing, etc as artistic endeavours - in a
romanticised way. But it is still a form of labour and there is hard work in
adminstrating these endeavours, time involved, and just sweat and hussling.
It's not all glamour.

On the flip side I think there is a creative element in other fields -
promoting, being an agent or a manager or publicist - that is rarely
recognised, which is a shame. (This is going off the topic.)

My guess is that Louis will get more money from having French Kiss sampled
by Lil' Kim than he got off sales from the actual record. Maybe he would
like to reissue his own stuff? I wish he would or could as I would like all
of his back catalogue too.
