The commercial stuff was relatively innocuous and predictably clueless.
The loops they were running on the screen at the Cpop stage were especially
dumb.  Like Dan, I was amused/disgusted by the Bacardi thing, but at least
they were running live shots of the performance quite a bit of the time
at the underground stage.  

As for the Ford tent, the less said the better.  "Chicks" on go go platforms?
DJs who looked like they spent more money on haircuts than records last week?
Puh Leese.  Waste of a damn good sound system.
