Maybe this is on a tangent, but what exactly would people consider to be tech-house anyway? My personal impression of Tejada at DEMF was that his sound would fall under that label, this has always been a curious term however. I would be interested to know what sound Mr. Tyreer would consider to be tech-house as opposed to John Tejada's sound, for example. I know there may be some issues with the term tech-house being used rather loosely by certain DJs in the UK that I'm not fully aware of here in the state. In one way, it seems like a lot of Detroit techno records could actually be called tech-house as they do fall somewhere in between techno (esp. in the fullon banging sense of the term) and house.
