Isolee is the man, but it baffles me somewhat why everyone focuses on 'Beau Mot Plage' so much. He's made loads of records that equal it, including that re- released one 'Brazil.com'.... Some other techno (broad definition) artists/records that are wowing me at the moment: The Shifted Phases album, the last Ultradyne release, Rene Breitbarth (triebstoff and others), Losoul's stuff, Justus Kohncke (Kompakt), Reinhard Voigt (Mike Ink's brother on Kompakt), SCSI9, aka Anton Kubikov (trapez and others), Pacou (one of the most underrated techno artists - he did the best live performance I've ever seen in Tresor last year), Oxtongue (some Italian bloke who has had one amazing record on Traum), Kit Clayton (especially the Vertical Fault record), the last Sterac thing, and I'm just starting to get into some of Geoff White's stuff (Traum and others). I've mentioned a lot of that new German minimal gear, but I do think a lot of it is extremely dull. > > > > ****************************************************************************** The information in this e-mail is confidential and may be legally privileged.
