I've seen both rich hawtin and john acquaviva mix 3+ hours without an audible mistake. beyond that, I dont know because I seldom stay longer than 3 hours at any event.
mills gets away with it because he drops the right tunes at the right times and mixes with 3 turntables sometimes, which can help cover bad mixing. anyways, that peel session was bad mix after bad mix. I listened to it in the car on the way to a show and turned it off 3/4 of the way through. If he was spinning at a venue like that, I would have left. maybe jeff had a bit to drink before his peel session ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sakari Karipuro" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "313" <313@hyperreal.org> Sent: Sunday, March 02, 2003 11:17 AM Subject: Re: (313) dave clarke live > Maarten Baute wrote on Sun, 2 Mar 2003 about following: > > > > in every mix in 1 hour mix :) i'd like to hear how he was back in the > > > day, like over 10 years ago, or late 80's :) > > > > You wanna know how da wizzard was behind the decks? > > Oh man.... he was an absolute genius.. > > I never heard anyone spin that much records in a short period, all fitting > > well togheter, and with NO MISTAKES at all! > > my point being; how come every mix i've heard from him in the past > 10 years he trainwrecks every mix :) but yes i'd like to hear those old > mixes for sure, there was some mixes up on some site a while ago but > the site disappeared before i got to listen to the mixes. > > > sakke > -- > - * remixes out now * - > http://www.arabuusimiehet.com/sakke/music.html
