That's plausible, of course, but it strikes me as strange.
These are limited releases, and I reckon that any shop who wanted to stock
them would have bought as many as they could in the first instance. How
likely is it that Distributors would still be sitting on any after 4 weeks??
It's possible, but it doesn't seem likely. This is speculative, of course-
as is this whole thread, really.

this is not completely true

as to the shops, they are offered pretty expensive by the several
distributors
and they offer it more expensive, as they but it in more expensive
and of course shops take their own margin.

Now, mysteriously, the same vendors are knocking them out for the above
