One interesting wrap could be the SMIL format.
It stand for "Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language" :
"Define an XML-based language that allows authors to write interactive
multimedia presentations. Using SMIL 2.0, an author can describe the
temporal behavior of a multimedia presentation, associate hyperlinks with
media objects and describe the layout of the presentation on a screen."
So for example, you could write the full tracklisting, and put in a defined
color the track that is being played according to passed time.
What a pity its not enough used, but theres a good reason, only RealPlayer
support it.
The presentation is displayed in the Media window, but i think other players
could handle it quite easly, in their Movie window or whatever.

text..bots cant search what's presented on a flash page right? or, using
your favorite graphics program, you could create an image of the tracklist
and just embed it in the page..
