i remember almost buying an album a couple of years ago. the reason
why i didn't buy it was the pressing was cr*p. i think it's this one

music was good but the vinyl was so thin and the grooves on the record
were so fine and packed tightly together that it skipped. it's too bad
cuz i really like their stuff and i have almost all of their other
releases.

how *I* remember it, NO u.s. distributors were carrying them. not
watts. not syntax. not nemesis. none of them.
we (record time, late 90's) always got our sales copies via hardwax.
and i was always told that was the ONLY way to get them, because
thats how
hardwax wanted it.
and as far as i know, theyve been out of print for quite some time.
if they arent out of print, spend some money at hardwax. theyre a great
store and more than deserving of your support. even if i costs you a
few extra bucks. the records in question (MMM 1 & 2, errorsmith 1 &
2, soundstream, smith & hack LP, etc) are worth 3 times what youre
going to get charged anyhow.
derek.

they used to be distributed in the states. i bought all my sound hack
records at temple records in new york. i'm thought they would
have come
through watts. but i guess it could have been from prime in the uk.
i know they used to be, i just dont think anyone is stocking them
now. which seems so wrong on so many levels. i dont remember the
prime stickers being on any of my friends' copies. maybe it was
nemesis? though that doesnt exactly make sense either.
