i'd say the comparison is flawed. most of the tracks on the acid comp are available on other comps, re-releases or are still aviable from the original label. whereas, at a guess, the studio one material and much on the other comps is rarer than whatever proverbial you choose.
this is a good comp for people who aren't into acid. it gives them a solid group of tracks. it's not a comp that aims to bring deleted or lost tracks back into circulation. but the more peole playing out old acid the happier i am. james www.jbucknell.com "Paul Kendrick" <[EMAIL PROTECTED] .com> To <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, 01/06/05 10:59 PM <313@hyperreal.org> cc Subject RE: (313) word on the street >Soul Jazz normally do great comps, but your right this is just the >norm... :o/ well, lets be fair here, if for example we were big reggae heads, I'm sure we'd say the same thing about their reggae comps for example, and mad voodoo soca music or detroit free jazz records or whatever. it's only cos we know it all back to front because we're dead anal about it I suppose. _________________________________________________________________ ForwardSourceID:NT0001EE76
