Detroit music: Going to raves starting at about age 18 until maybe 23-24, interested in Detroit since about age 20, Going to DEMF in 2001 really helped!!! What turned me onto Detroit: Moodymann, Theo, 3Chairs, etc., DEMF 2001 I'm not too sure about favorite live act or club - I haven't really been out a whole lot since 2001 - I have two young boys and live in Bloomington, Indiana - so I don't make much effort to get out. My husband and I saw the 3Chairs at Smart Bar in Chicago last fall - Theo was beautiful. We also saw DJ Krush there last fall - He was amazing too!
