ANYTHING can hinder creativity.
It would be an exceptionally hard sell to prove anything can enhance it.
How would you know what would have happened if you did or did not do 'x'? Or added ____ (fill in the blank with love/hate gear)?
By whose standards?
Just because you think music is either already handbasketed in hell or on the way says nothing about what made it happen...it might have gotten stale with or without thechnology. There are plenty of records made without computers out there screaming the truth of that. Subjective points of view are just a pain when one tries to make them objective and normative. Bottom line - if you don't have it, strapping on an old Strat or booting up a new Power Mac ain't gonna supply it.
'nuff said (for me anyway).

the ability for technology to either enhance or hinder creativity and
the ability to make/perform music.
