i agree with that, of course. the problem is, of course that the
percentage of music that is coming out that is good and creative is
diving precipitously, and i just dont think that it is coincidence
that it mostly is happening with computer based setups. im not against
computer made music, im against the way that it seems to make people
all strive for the same things, few of which have anything to do with
good music.

Bottom line - if you don't have it, strapping on an old Strat or booting
up a new Power Mac ain't gonna supply it.
'nuff said (for me anyway).

what about people who DO have it, but then waste it away with needless
technological crap? photek is a great example, his early raw and
simple records were fantastic, now that he is keeping up with the DnB
joneses in terms of production values, his tunes are as generic
sounding as the next person's.....
