Stephen Brown is from Scotland (Edinburgh, I believe). He's released five or six EPs on Djax (www.djax.nl) that are all top quality. Tight, minimal, funky techno in a style that I wish more people would do, a bit like Robert Hood or early Jay Denham, very well produced too. I wondered what he'd been up to, because his last EP on Djax was well over a year ago. Looking forward to this one!
