hmmm, I agree to some extent but New Years Eve always is a bit of an
anti-climax.

I travelled to London from Liverpool and spent a good time in the company of
like minded friends.
Even though it was a lesser UR bill than we were told, I still revelled in
hearing UR past, present & future played out in the archaic venue that was
the setting. The djing was secondary for me at that point.

As for KDJ. I got in that room and when I heard Analog live (my sleaze
anthem) I just went off the end of the scale.  Favourite moment for me was
when I approached the front to see if Kenny was tinkling the ivories on the
piano especially brought in. He wasn't. Was he at the decks? Negative to
that too. Instead I spied him under the balcony area fooling with the
controls on some girl instead. A true Moodymann live set, just how I'd
always like to remember him.
