i love x-102 but i gotta admit i think some of the music is pretty dated.

yeah, that's a fair call... a good few of the early UR records haven't necessarily stood the test of time too well from a musical standpoint. regardless, i still think X-102 is a classic release. everything about the way they executed the idea was on the money.

well maybe it was never totally my thing, the inscriptions etc are dope tho..

yeah, and as KJ mentioned the way that the vinyl was cut to replicate or model the rings of Saturn is such an amazing idea - an incredibly creative approach to realising the X-102 concept.

heheh, there's definitely that possibility mate. i'm fairly confident i've had way too many cups of tea so far today, and all that caffeine can't be a good thing. ;)
