I'm sorry I just had to say something on this This man's music has inspired me more than any others. I bet many of you Mill's haters have never even heard all of the purpose makers, or "shifty disco" or his older stuff like "tranquilizer", "dark matter/beyond". He can do it all. That man has more soul and intensity in his "minimal" music than anyone. Sometimes music doesn't have to slap you in the face with a 909 kick and a spacey backdrop. It can lure you in with a rhythm that you don't quite get at first. Someone said before, it's like "a beach party for helicopter blades" .......thats it. Not sleek and precise, but gritty and concise.

"Jeff Mills" as for a DJ, I've never heard any set unfold before your ears with as much creativity and energetic fervor more than the classic "Live at the Liquid Room; that's right: TOKYO" (Derrick May came close live though).
