Wasn't this done deliberately by the CR/BC team? Some kind of brutal point-making about the superiority of vinyl?

Yeah, my Various Artists will only play the later half of the disk and the Vainquer is nearly unplayable. I had some luck bending it back in place and making it totally flat, then ripping it, but some tracks were completely hosed.
