Thanks for the information. I didn't know that. It could be useful in a future discussion of how to generate printed music. It implies that an option to put the entire key signature into the music rather than at the left of the staff would have a use to people doing orchestral arrangements. I wonder how common this is in band music? I've seen a lot of music for Bb instruments, and I don't think I've ever noticed this. French Horn is a bit of a special instrument in many ways.
