That's one description of the problems one sees with firewalls that have reflexive ACLs installed - outgoing traffic on a port enables incoming traffic on that port. Since rat uses the same source and destination port, it will work properly. Vic uses different source and dest ports, so the traffic won't flow back in. --bob
