Unfortunately, debit cards issued to visually challenged are not working in green channel counter (withdrawing and depositing cash at branch using debit card). Green card can be used for the same which is very useful as the customer doesn't even need to key in the pin or fill any form. There is no rule that says green card shouldn't be issued to visually challenged. As far as using cash deposit machine is concerned, depositing cash without card will attract a service charge of Rs. 25 per transaction. So, the best thing is to take a green card and use for depositing cash. The issue of debit card usage at GCC by visually challenged has already been flagged by someone to the person concerned.
