Indigo might also be right. Checking in with wheel  chair really takes some
time as one of the counter staff helps the passenger in security check.
Jumping the queue at  delhi airport is also not possible everytime as other
passengers with same conditions might be travelling. If you report late and
the airline gives you alternate flight without any charge then one should
not complain.

Many of our learned members are frequent travellers and I heard that they
inform the indigo in advance of their journey. This helps in early security
check.
