in my opinion, without selfishness no relation may last longer. No matter, whether your partner is disabled or not. disabled or non-disabled, both are having brain and surrounding society.
marriage is a lottery ticket, which you can't throw even if you lose it.
experience of one's individual married life, is like a DNA of a human body, which is unique for every individual. hence, comparison between twos won't provide absolute result.

As I say, exclusion may or may not be deliberate, but inclusion has to be so.

I don't know how many disabled-non-disabled are love marriages, but some definitely are particularly when the other partner also has an actual or perceived disadvantage in the marriage market.

Sometimes, it may very well be unconscious bias. People may not even realize that they are excluding someone as a potential partner when they actually are.

Yes I also second this.
Strong reason is that since we do not make eye to eye contact they might not be able to express their feelings and vice versa. and first impression would be sympathetic when they see us with a stick or escort. That is why we cannot expect the actual true love feelings with the sighted partner. But still there are exceptional cases like many of us have got married to the sighted partners but how many are love myrriages?.

Hi, all,

Based on your lived experience, is it true that being disabled increases the likelihood of a potential partner only considering you a friend, rather than looking at you in romantic terms? If so, why?
