I agree that blindness does limit one's chances of being thought of as potential partner. I did not have any love inclination from opposite side except one in nine years of my academically illustrious college life.
If you compare figures with my sighted counterparts, I would perhaps be the last. This is so, me thinks, because any disability, and more so the blindness, makes a person static, and takes away dynamism. By dynamism, I mean the ability to sense in real time ever changing surroundings and react to them.
