I will always choose Amazon over Flipkart.

Once I ordered a furniture from Flipkart and after a week, they notified  in the app that the item is delivered. almost 3 months the amount was stuck with them .
Before this  incident, I have ordered many big electronics from Flipkart and never had a problem.

Just to add my experience to the thread, I have had an excellent experience buying almost every time from Amazon. In fact, wherever possible, I use Amazon & it is my preferred platform of interaction.

 

I have bought things from flipkart, but if I have a choice, I always opt for uAmazon.

 

In addition, Flipkart has an extremely poor app interface as compared to Amazon.

 

I have a few negative experiences with Amazon, however, far fewer to deter me from buying it from them.

In my experience, if you’re not vigilant in buying from Amazon, you’re inviting trouble. Often they deliver wrong or damaged product. Making videos while unboxing as advised by Sunil is going to fortify you against frauds.

 

It’s clear that once Amazon closes the deal and gets the money, it doesn’t concern itself with customers’ grievances. Those lofty commitments of going an extra mile to satisfy the customer are only in name.

 

Mistakes are inevitable, regardless of how ironclad your system is. Fair enough, agreed.

 

However, if multitudes of complaints aren’t pressuring the company to take concrete, proactive measures to check the problem during delivery, it speaks volumes of how earnest is it to uphold basic ethics. But for strict legal guidelines in place to check such base business tactics, they would have made 10 times as much money than this.
