I can understand your trouble and pain. but the alternative therapies like
music and Yoga prove to be benefitial. If you'd like to have an experience,
just contact me off the list. Please do not mention the desease but the
troubles you face these days. Please be open to take up new experiments as
something is better than nothing.
I have just attended a seminar on the alternative therapy which was held in
Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Sansthan, Bangalore. there I chanced to
meet various specialists of the art-form therapy. I presented a Paper on

i have suffered with optic nerve atrophy for 17 years now. in the early
stages of my illness i have attempted acupuntre as an alternate therapy
and can surely tell you there is definitely no light at the end of any
tunnel. i do not believe any of these therapies work and i have tried
several. yes, they might stimulate the related nerves and cause some
general improvement, but refuse to believe if anyone is to claim that
there may be any sort of treatment for the same. generally these claims
are made to lure the people who are emotionally defenceless and would do
anything to see some hope. once hooked, theyy are emotionally held on to
with some promises for the future, thus spending time, money and
emotionally draining themselves when the same energy could have been used
to do other things to move on in life.
a personal opinion.
