Hello,
I got it checked by the BSNL people twice, by my vendor and some of my
friends. The setup is ok. The BSNL people always said that it is not
expected and they can't solve it. Anyway, I shall try to find the filters
as geetha said. I shall inform you if it solves the problem.
Best regards,
Amiyo Biswas

Your problem should be solved if the telephone wire which enters your
premises, is first attached to your modem and telephone thereafter.

Hello,
Since I got my BSNL broadband connection in Kolkata in August 2008, I
never
had the luxury of undisturbed connection. Whenever there is a call on
landline, the line is disconnected. I have asked all my friends not to
ring
me on my landline number. I am actually not writing the number.
However, I
still need it for certain reasons. Anyway, I have complained several
time in
first six months including a written complaint. Whenever I made a
complaint
over phone, the BSNL officials roughly asked me to go over to their
office
and report the problem. They told me sharply that they were not
supposed to
hear complaints over phone. They were also not expected to attend
complaints
against docket number generated by the toll free calls.
Anyway, I gave it up last year. However, the problem still persists and
I
can't download or upload large audio biles in most cases. I have to try
it
several times. Now I want to do something serious. I sent my written
complaint to the local division of the BSNL. What can I do now? I am
not
thinking in terms of consumer court or things like that. I just want my
problem solved. Where should I write?
With Best regards,
Amiyo Biswas.
