Nice to hear sth. in this case and find another victim.
I almost thought it was a hardware problem, yet in Windows it never occured.

The kernel parameter I already tried since 2.6.31 yet it is no cure. 
I constantly monitor my gpu temp. and in case of a shutdown it is almost around
66-70°C. I use the latest 256 Series Nvidia driver.

The only cure is the kernel parameter Acpi=off, but this is no option for a
mobile laptop. 
Thermal.nocrt=1 is no cure either as controlled shutdown is prevented but after
2-3 secs at 127° the computer just shuts down without going back through the
runlevels. After reboot the fan spins at top speed until thermal module is
loaded again, so there some sort of reset/reinitialising seems to happen.

I will try 2.6.36 too when it is finally released, but rc3 still produced the
error.
