Hi, unfortunately the other victim is me =) And it seems both of you you are
right (again unfortunately ;). The Terminator-Bug came back today :( Hope there
will be some fix soon, because it's really frustrating when you are in the
middle of doing something.

For me the fan also keeps spinning at top speed after turning the laptop on
again. Since right after the reboot the ACPI driver isn't active, this makes me
wonder if the cause of the problem could be that some bad value might be
*written* to somewhere (in memory or a location that retains its state after a
reboot) that shouldn't be written there.
