Regrettably the bug is still found in 2.6.36-87.

It hit me while browsing kde-apps with no other open windows, so the system
load was very small for a Core2Duo processor.

Same procedure as every year, suddenly the fans spin at top speed. When I look
at the current temp monitor on my x desktop 127°C is shown. After two seconds
the system shuts down (No regular shutdown as thermal.nocrt=1 is used).

At reboot the fans still spin at top speed until acpi modules are loaded.

Any logs needed? Any hints?
