Hi Mehboob,

Thanks; I've had a fair bit of experience doing remote work with servers
(mostly PC), although obviously you need someone on site to actually plug it
in, turn it on, and get the remote software up and running. And should the
computer or hard drive complete die, you'd need someone to get your backup
on line. Everything else I'm fairly comfortable with regarding the remote
admin. I think the macminicolo site does all the initial setup and restore
if necessary for you (from what I read on their site). Pretty much just sign
a contract and send them some money, and they'll get you ready to access the
machine remotely.

Plus I assume they do all the maintenance necessary to keep the network
online, uninterrupted power to the machines, etc. so you only need to deal
with the application, not any of the infrastructure.

And I do all my development work on the Mac, so I'm comfortable using that.
Seems like a lot less maintenance using the Mac, and since the estimated
usage requirements aren't too demanding, no reason to go with the PC.

Thanks!

Michael
