My 4D database already runs from a SSD ;-) Though backups and Journals are saved to a traditional spindle RAID for peace of mind.
A lot of RAM also adds dramatically to the search performance, in case you bump up the 4D cache. After you are used to the speed improvement, you'll notice a huge performance drop after a server restart (even with SSD) until the cache has filled up again. ;-) Peter _______________________________________________ Active4D-dev mailing list [email protected] http://list.aparajitaworld.com/listinfo/active4d-dev Archives: http://active4d-nabble.aparajitaworld.com/
