Joshua To be honest I never have streamlined hotfixes into a flat cd image on a rips server. If the /s switch is available then I would suggest that you do it.
If not when you image up a hot fixed build it should in theory put any differences into the new images i386 directory. SP's are an exception to this; I believe this decision was made in order to utilize the Single Instance Store feature of RIS.
