[ActiveDir] DNS/internet connectivity problems

I've just set up my first AD domain on a W2K sp4(fully patched) box.  Network is behind a DSL router running DHCP.  The promotion to DC went well, no problems and the installation of the DNS server seemed to go fine.  I was able to connect to the internet without a problem.  Tried to join my first workstation to the domain and could not do it because of DNS issues.  I discovered that the DNS server was not integrating with AD.  I uninstalled the DNS Server then reinstalled it, integrated it to AD and that solved my problem I was able to join the domain.  However, I lost internet conectivity.  I have full access on my internal network, but am unable to get past the router.  I've set my forwarders and the hints and still nothing.  Please help!
