David, I think it's time for you to provide more details. Let's start with IPconfig /all from the following: The DNS server itself A client in the domain A client not in the domain. Then provide more details about HOW your DNS server is setup: Is it forwarding? If yes, to whom? In DNS console, if you enable "Advanced" view, do you see a "." zone in the Forward Lookup Zone?
