Thanks adam for the kind words and hope that I can make some useful contributions from our little whanganui roost. On that note the Greenbench has recently moved across the road to: United Friendly Societies Building 67 Guyton Street, Whanganui, Now with 172 m^2, 2 studios, a permanent exhibition/workshop/performance/project space and a kitchen! We are looking forward to developing a new program shortly - ideas and visitors welcome. ---- Going back to the beginning of the thread - from a CNZ strategic plan point of view it could be a good idea for ADA to submit something to the review and judging by the discussion so far there are some strong views so maybe it's a good way of exploring them too? Practically the submission date is 16th October so there's little time to do something. Here's a way of working I've used for govt submissions in the past.. 1. put up a wiki 2. set up a submission document 3. people submit their ideas and comments to the wiki 4. someone agree to edit the page - anyone want to be the gardener? 5. agree it at the AGM 6. email it to CNZ before 16th I made a start with 1 + 2 and put a little wiki here: http://ada.greenbench.org/pmwiki.php/CNZ-2009/ and a draft response document here. http://ada.greenbench.org/pmwiki.php/CNZ-2009/response you don't need an acct just this. editpw: circularipples I'm a bit snowed under this week so would someone be able to take on the editing and submission? What do you think? Worth a try? Now back to what to write :) cheers /julian btw taking part in this later in the week http://rixc.lv/09 and back in NZ oct 16 _______________________________________________ Ada_list mailing list [email protected] http://aotearoadigitalarts.org.nz/
