Dear all
Congratulations electrosmog team on an exciting weekend. I followed some of
the work with great interest and particularly thought that the backyard dances
seemed cohesive and coherent, being visually and conceptually well framed. My
attempts to log in to the breakfast on Sunday morning were foiled by a lack of
knowledge of the software - it would have been good to have an obvious point
of call to ask for assistance.
As someone with less experience in these digital platforms than most on this
network what I am still seeking is to be reassured that we are being 'held' as
an audience - or that the slippage is an acceptable part of the performance.
Is this possible?

Anyway, by way of follow on from electrosmog, I'd like to let you all know
about the Dialogues with Tomorrow series, to be presented in 'real time' in
Wellington and recorded for pod-casts for our Now Future website. Now Future
is a new initiative between me, Sophie Jerram and Dugal McKinnon. The final of
the Dialogues has Julian Priest in conversation with Simon Coley, of Powershop,
and is planning on talking about the work he started with electrosmog. I hope
I'm not breaking list-serv protocol by distributing an e-flyer - attached below.

One thing I hoped someone could help with -we are currently trying to locate a
video conference facility in North London for our May 13th speaker, Judith
Williamson, OR a very reliable, high bandwidth software that can be broadcast
up to lecture theatre size in Wellington. We have made contact with http
gallery who may still be able to assist but I would really appreciate any
expert advice on this one. thanks very much.

With respect and appreciation
Sophie Jerram

I h
