Yes, OLS is just a wee bit extremely technical; if you're not a code wrangler you're probably out of your depth there. For what it is, I think it's extremely important, and it certainly puts Canada on the international Linux map, but something targetted at the average user might be useful too. There was an effort to get an event called SOLE happening in Hamilton; I never heard any confirmation that it really was happening, and suspect it got derailed.
