M2V is an MPEG2 video file with no audio streams. The
WAV file is a 16bit 48Khz PCM audio file. IF your
video processing software did its job correctly, both
should be DVD compliant.

With the same filename (except the extention of
course) a DVD authoring program should pick up the WAV
file when you add the M2V file. That's assuming the
authoring program is written properly to recognize
files with all the acceptable DVD MPEG2 formats.

Something that could be a problem is an incorrect Four
CC code in the file header. Four CC is a four
character code used to identify the type of video
file. There are several programs out there for editing
that code, or you can use a hex editor if you're the
'super geek' sort of person. ;)

See the DVD section of www.videohelp.com for more info.
