Hi Taky:

Yes you can de-interlace on export to Encore. One possible advantage
might be to reduce the interlacing artifacts from lines and checkered
patterns that typically show up in the non-progressive video.

Consider too importing the footage into a 30P or 24P project for the
same reasons.
