In XP and 7, go to the System Restore configuration and in each OS *disable* System Restore for the drive the other version of Windows is on. XP is known to corrupt System Restore points of Vista and 7 installed on the same PC in a multi-boot setup. (Something we're not likely to see a fix for from Microsoft.) You can also use a bit of a brute force method to block chkdsk from running automatically on specific drives using CHKNTFS.EXE Google that for directions. That way you can make 7 never do chkdsk on XP's drive and XP never do chkdsk on 7's drive. > I am confused: I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to continue > using my Flip Ultra HD video camera because it is just SO > DARN CONVENIENT to have in my pocket at ALL TIMES, and I can > capture just anything on a moment's notice. What's the problem with the camera? Microsoft's Windows 7 Compatibility site says the Flip Ultra HD is supported by 32 and 64 bit Windows 7. Here's the latest software for Flip cameras. http://www.theflip.com/en-us/App/fvsw/5.x/update/ Googling around, I saw some apps for converting video from Flip cameras, like this one. http://www.flip-converter.com/article-flip-windows/edit-flip-video-to-adobe-premiere/ ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
