Are you using a 32-bit version of Pro? Important to know, since running out
of memory is very, very likely with a 32-bit OS. The seemingly random
behavior symptom sounds like it might be that.

Subject: [AP] movie export stalls
This is a problem that has arisen recently, in fact only in the project
I am working on presently, a wedding I shot for a friend.
When I try to export a movie, it stalls. Sometimes near the beginning of
the process, sometimes just before it makes it to the end. My most
recent attempt I exported to a different folder and it worked OK. The
following attempt failed.
I have just under 500 GB free on the video drive so I know it is not
space. Recycle bin is empty or near to.
What's causing my problem?
