Thanks Lee, that might be it, altho I was only running PPro at the time. 
I have 2GB. I cut the file down to 2 smaller ones, and it happened 
again. On another try, it worked. When I was encoding in Encore, the 
same thing happened again. The last file, not the longst by any means, 
stalled. On another try it worked fine.
